MIGHTY EXTRA NO.70 PVC SOLVENT CEMENT

Solid Content : 24% Solvent Consist of : MEK, CYC.
Consistency Property : 1,000 cps. Color : Transparence
Quality : Tough & Resilient. Standard : BS-4346-Part 3

"MIGHTY EXTRA NO. 70 PVC SOLVENT CEMENT" is a highly soluble fast-dry PVC Solvent Cement. It has an exceptionally strong and stable quality. It is especially suitable for joining all ABS or uPVC pipes from 15 mm - 75 mm diameters. When it is used in uPVC pipes it will instantly dissolve and blend with the pipe to produce a film (wall) of 0.4 mm thick, so that the fitting gap will be strong and stable. It is important to note that during setting time this solvent cement’s strong chemical reaction on the pipe produces a slight "springing" force, and so it is essential that immediately after its assembly the pipe must be tightly held in place and shall only be released after the recommended straining time as stipulated below. If released prematurely, the pipe to be fitted will spring apart. (This solvent cement may not be used if the pipe or fitting is made of partly recycle material)

STRAINING TIME

Pipes with diameter 15 mm (½") 10 seconds.
Pipes with diameter 25 mm (1") to 32 mm (1¼") 8 seconds.
Pipes with diameter 50 mm (2") 6 seconds.
Pipes with diameter 75 mm (3") 4 seconds.

MIGHTY EXTRA NO.10 PVC SOLVENT CEMENT

Solid Content : 24% Solvent Consist of : MEK, CYC, THF
Consistency Property : 1,000 cps. Color : Transparence
Quality : Tough & Resilient. Standard : BS-4346-Part 3

"MIGHTY EXTRA NO. 10 PVC SOLVENT CEMENT" is a highly soluble slow-dry PVC Solvent Cement. It has an exceptionally strong and stable quality. It is especially suitable for joining all ABS or uPVC pipes from 75 mm - 200 mm diameters.

Pipes with diameter 25 mm (1") 20 seconds.
Pipes with diameter 32 mm(1 ¼") to 50 mm (2") 16 seconds.
Pipes with diameter 75 mm (3") to 100 mm (4") 12 seconds.
Pipes with diameter 150 mm (6") 8 seconds.
Pipes with diameter 200 mm (8") 4 seconds.

MIGHTY EXTRA NO.11 PVC SOLVENT CEMENT

(This solvent cement is specially formulated for joining Non-Standard uPVC pipes & fittings)

Solid Content : 40% Solvent Consist of : MEK, CYC, THF
Quality : Tough & Resilient. Color : Transparence

"MIGHTY EXTRA NO. 11 PVC SOLVENT CEMENT" is a highly soluble slow-dry PVC Solvent Cement. It has a distinctive characteristic of having a consistency property exceeding 5,000 cps. and it has an exceptionally strong and stable quality. It is especially suitable for joining all ABS or uPVC pipes of over 100 mm diameter or where the uPVC pipe’s fitting gap is too big for ordinary solvent cement can not be effective. When it is used in uPVC pipes, it will instantly dissolve and blend with the pipe to produce a film (wall) of 0.8 mm thick, so that the fitting gap will be strong and stable.

Pipes with diameter 25 mm (1") and above 30 seconds.
Pipes with diameter 32 mm(1 ¼") to 50 mm (2") 26 seconds.
Pipes with diameter 75 mm (3") to 100 mm (4") 22 seconds.
Pipes with diameter 150 mm (6") 18 seconds.
Pipes with diameter 200 mm (8") 8 seconds.

Attention:

1. Temperatures below 15˚C  (50˚F) will extend the straining period for another 5 minutes for each type of pipe.
2. These Solvent Cement may not be used if the uPVC or fitting is made of partly recycled material.

DIRECTION OF USE (NO. 70, NO.11):-

1. Saw at the point to be mated, ensuring that the end of the pipe or fitting to form the spigot is cut at right angles to its axis. Remove any scarf and other debris from the joining surface.
2. Clean the mating surface with a suitable uPVC cleaning fluid.
3. & 4. Dip the clean brush (Please refer to recommendations on brush) into solvent cement and apply it evenly, by stroking along (and not round) the clean and dry mating surface.

5. Connect and fit the pipes to the mating surface properly and securely together. Avoid any vibration or movement initially until the recommended straining time is over.
6. Full pipes pressure can be applied in about twenty-four (24) hours after joining.

RECOMMENDATIONS ON BRUSH :-
A: Pipes with diameter 25mm(1") and below - use brush as accompanied and affixed to can.
B: Pipes with diameters 32mm to 50mm (1 1/4" to 2") - use separate 1" brush.
C: Pipes with diameters 75mm to 200mm (3" to 8") - use separate 2" brush.
